Cats in My Life

Cats have always been one of the most important parts of my life. Feeling a natural connection with feline animals, I love observing them closely, and they give me enormous inspiration and a feeling of happiness.

Starting in 2018, I personally funded a rescue shelter in my neighborhood. Along with my neighbor, we have rescued more than 40 cats so far. Some of them have been adopted, while a few still stay in the shelter. Since I moved to Oslo, my neighbor sends me photos and updates about their lives from time to time. I enjoy featuring them with my digital pencil.

Poppy

Scotish Fold

Poppy was rescued in the summer of 2023 when she was a kitten. She likes drinking water with her small paws and enjoys eating fruits. She always bullies the other cats by hissing at them or slapping them on the face.

Meiyuan

Long Hair Mixed

Meiyuan is my favorite cat due to his personality. He is a very sweet little boy and never fights with any of the other cats. He accepts everyone, and he is the most popular cat among both humans and his peers. He was rescued in 2020.

Niu Niu

Scottish and Siam Mixed

Niuniu is our family cat. She is like a queen and only likes my mother.

Others

Just like humans, every cat is unique. They have their distinct characters and special charms.
